“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” -Helen Keller

Bio:

Jonathan Anderson holds a M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College; he graduated from Johnson University in May of 2013 with a B.S. in Bible and Preaching/Church Leadership.

He’s an advocate, “social justice warrior,” and supporter of prophetic justice in the face of all injustices and oppression, but especially for African Americans who face racial inequality.  He has been published on The Good Men Project with works related to topics of feminism, racism, and racial issues.

About Me in My Own Words

Everyday is another day I try to be Jonathan Anderson (nothing more and nothing less), to live and love authentically on this journey of discovering my true self, which is a journey of the heart. Kierkegaard once said, “Once you label me you negate me.” I’m not a label, but I find these useful about myself:

Post-Christendom Follower of Christ.
Democratic Socialist.
Hack Philosopher.
Existential Realist.
Recovering Know-It-All.
Masters-level Counselor.
Newbie Therapist.
Ph.D. Aspirant.
Social Justice Warrior.

  1. Jon, thanks for sharing the link with me. I’m proud to have had a small part in your education so far. Wherever your path leads, I hope you will leave a trail breadcrumbs back to where my path takes me.
